Owners since 1988, Mike and Peggy Bryant have spent the past 29 years working to build a business we could be proud of and establishing a customer base that could depend on us.
Mike started in the trade in 1974 as a body man and painter, and later managed the body shop for a local dealership, prior to becoming an owner here at Artistic in 1988. He still enjoys helping out in the shop when time allows. After 14 years of being home raising our daughters, Peggy joined the business as Bookkeeper. Both of our daughters worked in the office during their high school years, and now our grandchildren like to visit us here at our “shop house”.
In between running the business and raising a family, Mike also restored his 1953 Ford F100 pick-up “Black Chrome” (pictured on our home page) from the ground up. A very long process, but well worth the wait.
We’ve met some incredible people and made some good friends during the years. Some of them started as customers in the early years and continued during the years with their children’s cars, and even a few of their grandchildren’s cars.
Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of watching employees children grow and had a lot of good times with all of them. “Employee” is not a word we choose to use, but instead consider us all friends working together towards the same goal. We do our jobs here in the office and combined with their skilled work in the shop, we’ve established a very good reputation.
